GlobalPlatform is a cross industry, not-for-profit association which identifies, develops and publishes specifications which facilitate the secure and interoperable deployment and management of multiple embedded applications on secure chip technology.
As a key contributor to the standards process, Trustonic supports the GlobalPlatform API standards for both the TEE software and the corresponding infrastructure to connect devices to TSMs.
The GlobalPlatform Device Committee is chaired by Trustonic’s Christophe Colas and the TEE Specification Working Group is chaired by Trustonic’s Don Felton.

Trusted Computing Group
The Trusted Computing Group (TCG) develops, defines, and promotes open, vendor-neutral standards to enable more secure compute environments. It is best known for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) technology.
As contributors to the Mobile Platforms Working Group, Trustonic plays an important role in shaping and modernizing the TPM-Mobile specification - a TCG-specified security component for mobile devices that supports secure boot, secures root secrets and immutable data.
The Trusted Computing Group (TCG) and GlobalPlatform operate a joint work group which coordinates activity, such as technical requirements, technical specifications and use cases, between the two groups. A whitepaper explaining how the TEE supports trusted computing elements can be found here.
Formed in 2012, the FIDO Alliance is a non-profit organisation working to change the nature of online authentication. The alliance addresses the lack of interoperability among strong authentication devices as well as the problems users face with creating and remembering multiple usernames and passwords. Their mission is to replace the use of usernames and passwords with strong cryptographic credentials.
As the leading provider of TEE, Trustonic supports FIDO and is proud to be member of the alliance. More information can be found at www.fidoalliance.org.
