Dion is a global mobile and device industry expert, previously holding senior commercial roles in leading international mobile and digital businesses, including Telefonica, Brightstar and Lightsquared. Notably, while at Telefonica O2, Dion was instrumental in launching the first iPhone to the UK market and driving new multi-million £ revenue streams from digital services. With over 20 years of experience, Dion has established a track record of developing significant commercial relationships with leading global technology companies. He has lived across three continents with shorter secondments to 4 other countries to acquire a detailed working knowledge of the worldwide mobile and tech industries.
Before joining Trustonic, Dion was a senior executive in WaveOptics, a leading augmented reality hardware business, initially as Chief Commercial Officer and then as Chief Product Officer. WaveOptics was sold to Snap Inc for more than $500m in 2021. Outside of Trustonic, Dion advises startups in the augmented reality and robotics domains.
Sheldon has over 20 years experience in mobile applications and security – working for a variety of key players within the overall mobile and device ecosystem. With background and expertise in hardware, software, and mobile operators, Sheldon has been able to impact both the revenue and strategic direction of Trustonic.
Prior to joining Trustonic, Sheldon held a variety of Sales and Business Development executive positions at Blackberry, Motorola, and Good Technology, where he built a track record of delivering growth in both existing and growth markets.
Suzie is a senior commercial leader. With over 20 years of experience working in the B2B technology sector, Suzie has spent much of her career in the mobile industry working at BT, O2, and Telefonica. Suzie has a proven track record as a successful senior commercial leader, with a particular focus on B2B sales & marketing, launching and growing new digital services, transformation & M&A integration. Always with a people & culture lens, alongside commercial execution.
Prior to Trustonic, Suzie was Chief Marketing Officer at WaveOptics, the global leading AR scale-up, hardware business, during a period of rapid business change – from a technology start-up to a scale-up commercial business.
Andrew is an experienced, senior commercial and technology leader. Over the past 25 years, he has worked in a wide range of high-tech industries and has spent the last 10 years focused on the automotive sector. This has included working on multiple innovation projects from Linux-based IVI platforms to connected car services.
Prior to joining Trustonic, Andrew held senior leadership positions with Harman Connected Services, Symphony, Teleca, and Motorola. Andrew has also held various positions on industry forums as well as being a regular industry speaker and commentator.
Richard is an experienced technology leader. With over 30 years in the cybersecurity industry, Richard is a regular speaker and influencer on matters of cybersecurity. Richard was Chief Architect for Citrix Mobility, where he was responsible for crafting the XenMobile Enterprise Mobility Suite. During his 20 years at Citrix, Richard led projects ranging from embedded software to global enterprise systems, with a focus on user and developer experience.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cambridge University, focusing on identity federation for users, devices, and services.
Sohail has a passion for creating, and building products having spent the last 25 years in Product Management. Sohail’s focus has been on strategy, core product management roles, as well as operations in global businesses such as Deutsche Bank, Blackberry, EE, Orange. This breadth of experience & knowledge has helped to deliver software, hardware, services, and platform products globally across OEMs, Network Operators, Investment Banking, and Service Businesses.
Prior to joining Trustonic, Sohail worked for Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking arm helping to ‘productise’ IT and shape its portfolio strategy & optimisation, driving efficiencies and IT investment.
James is a commercially minded and customer-centric professional who brings over 20 years of experience from within leading international mobile and tech businesses to Trustonic, including BT, O2, and Microsoft. James has a track record of driving direct sales teams and partners to develop and grow market share. James has managed multi-million £ budgets and led commercial and contractual negotiations. He has successfully achieved this through strategic sales channel planning and improving operational efficiencies.
James brings this experience to Trustonic as Head of Sales Operations.
Verity is an HR professional with both local and international expertise and a passion for creating the right conditions for people to succeed. With over 20 years of generalist experience in HR working in various sectors, including B2B technology, Insurance, Financial Services, Engineering, Manufacturing/Production and Public Services, Verity has a proven track record as a successful senior people leader.
Before Trustonic, Verity was Senior HR Business Partner at ComparetheMarket, the UK’s best-loved comparison brand, business partnering with key C-suite executives and their teams during rapid business growth and change. She focuses on culture, transformation and employee engagement, and her expertise in these areas has led to Trustonic achieving Great Place to Work certification.
Roger has a passion for customer centric innovation and excellence. He has spent the last 25 years in various leadership roles within mobile and security information services. Roger specialises in product ideation through to building and delivering products and services at enterprise scale.
Prior to joining Trustonic, Roger held senior leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, Brocade, Telefonica and latterly at BSI heading up their Innovation Lab.
With 27 years in security and 15 of those focused on telecoms, Derick is an experienced industry leader. He has worked in startups, multi-nationals, and everything in between, holding the position of Chief Architect in numerous companies ranging from telco, national defence, intelligence, banking, and healthcare. He founded and exited a startup focused on identity and access management and was the Chief Security Officer for a startup designing a secure mobile phone.
At Trustonic, Derick started as a Solution Architect and then moved up to lead the Solution Architect team, the pre-sales organisation, and then into commercial strategy, before being appointed as CSIO.
Derick’s strong emphasis on the customer’s needs has enabled him to create solutions that bridge both the technical and commercial capabilities of Trustonic, resulting in improved product design and implementation.
